The Story
I started Argonaut Digital because I kept seeing the same problem: small businesses with outdated websites that didn't reflect how good they actually are. Or worse, no website at all.
Before I got into web development, I worked as a firefighter and EMT in the Sierra foothills. That experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and get things done right the first time. Those habits carried over when I moved into technology.
After years of building software and managing systems, I realized the people who needed good web development the most - local businesses, restaurants, tradespeople, small shops - were the ones who had the hardest time finding it. Big agencies charge too much. DIY website builders look generic. And nobody wants to deal with the technical headaches.
So I started Argonaut Digital. The name comes from the gold rush prospectors who built this part of California - people who saw opportunity and did the hard work to make something of it. That's what I help my clients do, just in the digital world.
